嘉利美商(集团)有限公司除了有一班有经验的营销员作前线的营销工作,亦有一队完整的船务与物流团队在背后支持及协助贸易的工作。营销员与船务部同事的关系相当密切,务求使工作顺利进行。公司有一套完整的计算机系统,连接由营销部出单至船务部的唛头纸等文件,及会计部的帐目等,使工序有连贯性及条理分明。公司有几间指定的物流及船务公司,与公司合作几十年,配合得相当有默契。通常当营销员与供货商或厂方联系,知道起货日期后,就会通知船务部同事安排合适的付运日期,或有时需要赶货来配合船期,双方必须有很好的联系及沟通,因为,最终目的是要给客户一个妥善的安排及满意的效果。Other than an experienced team of merchandisers working at the frontline, we have a very strong team of shipping and logistic to back up the flow of trading. The sales and shipping department always maintain close communications to keep the fluency of workflow. The main function of the shipping department would be booking shipping dates and arranging containers and forwarders. They need to liaise with the shipping companies and logistic companies as well as the merchandisers to meet the shipping dates provided by the clients. They are also experienced in negotiating the customs clearance process.
